Overview

When sea is too slow and trucks can't cross the ocean.

Air freight accounts for less than 1% of global trade volume but more than 35% of its value. It's how electronics launches hit shelf dates, how pharma reaches clinics before expiry, and how perishables land fresh. Our job is to get your shipment on the right uplift — and through customs at both ends — without losing a day.

We work with all major passenger and freighter carriers ex-Vietnam (Vietnam Airlines, Korean Air Cargo, Cathay, Singapore Airlines Cargo, Qatar, Emirates SkyCargo, Lufthansa Cargo) and consolidate with the global integrators (FedEx, DHL, UPS) when the lane and weight call for it. For non-stop urgent loads we arrange ad-hoc charters on freighters.

The real value isn't the booking — it's having a person who watches your AWB in real time, escalates ground handling delays at transit hubs (DOH, HKG, ICN are notorious), and pre-clears customs at destination so the airline doesn't park your cargo overnight in a warehouse.

Why BCOLogix for Air

Where minutes turn
into missed deadlines.

Booking an AWB is the easy part. Real air freight excellence is in the next 24 hours — uplift confirmation, transit-hub coordination, and pre-clearance at destination. That's where most cargo loses a day or two.
01

All carriers, all uplifts

We tender across every passenger and freighter carrier serving Vietnam — direct, single-transit, or via global integrators. Same uplift, but matched to your weight, dimensions and ETD instead of our allocation.

One bill · one coordinator · multiple carriers
02

IATA-certified cargo agents

Our airfreight team holds IATA cargo agent accreditation and IATA DGR certification for dangerous-goods handling. We issue our own HAWB and submit pre-clearance data so cargo doesn't sit at destination overnight.

03

Hub-watch & pre-clearance

We track your AWB at every transit hub (DOH, HKG, ICN, FRA) and escalate ground-handling delays before the airline parks your cargo overnight. At destination, customs data is pre-filed so clearance starts the moment wheels touch down.

Talk to ops
What's the difference between express, consolidated and charter?
Express books your cargo on the very next available flight (any carrier). Consolidated groups your shipment with others on a fixed weekly uplift — cheaper but with set departure days. Charter is a full freighter aircraft, used for very large volumes (50-120 t) or unique cargo. We'll recommend based on weight, urgency and budget.
How is chargeable weight calculated?
Chargeable weight is the higher of gross weight or volumetric weight. Volumetric weight = (L × W × H in cm) ÷ 6000 for air. For dense cargo gross weight wins; for light/voluminous cargo (foam, garments on hangers) volumetric weight wins. We always quote both so you can see the math.
Can you handle dangerous goods (DG) by air?
Yes — Class 2 through 9 under IATA DGR rules. Our team is IATA DGR-certified and we'll review your MSDS, recommend UN-spec packaging, prepare the Shipper's Declaration and book on a carrier that accepts your DG class. Lithium batteries (Class 9) require special handling — talk to ops first.
How fast is door-to-door air freight to the US / EU?
Express door-to-door is typically 3-5 days to the US west coast, 4-6 days to the US east coast, and 4-6 days to major EU gateways. Consolidated service adds 1-3 days. Charter is fastest — door-to-door in 48-72 hours but only economical above ~30 tons.
Do you support cold-chain (pharma, seafood, perishables)?
Yes — both active (powered RKN ULD) and passive (insulated cover + dry ice / gel packs). Set-point monitored end-to-end with data-logger reports. Pharma shipments handled per IATA CEIV-Pharma standards where carriers offer it (Qatar, Lufthansa, Emirates).
Can I get my cargo on a specific flight?
Yes for express bookings — you can specify carrier and flight number, subject to available capacity and security screening lead time (typically 4 hours before departure). For DG, perishables and AVI shipments we'll usually recommend specific carrier-flight combos with the best handling track record.
